What eu-inf stores about you, why, for how long, and what you can do about it. In short: your account and your chats are stored in the EU so you can come back to them, nothing is used to train a model, nothing is sold or shown to advertisers, and you can delete everything yourself at any time.
Version of 7 October 2026.
Who is responsible
archiTechture Group LLC, 3833 Powerline Rd, Suite 201, 33309 Fort Lauderdale, FL, United States. Email: hello@eu-inference.com.
Where your data is
The app, the database and the language model run on Google Cloud in the EU. Your messages are answered by a model server we run ourselves. They are not sent to Aleph Alpha, the model's maker, or to any other AI company, and they are not used to train any model. More on this on the hosting page.
What we store, and why
- Account: your name, email address, a hash of your password (never the password itself), and when the account was created. Needed to run your account (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Sessions: a session identifier in a cookie, with the IP address and browser type of the device that signed in, so that you stay logged in and can see where you are logged in. Needed for the account and its security (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
- Chats: every message you send and every reply, with time and order, so that you can come back to a conversation. Stored until you delete the chat or the account (Art. 6(1)(b)).
- Usage: how many messages you sent on each day and roughly how much text the model processed, to apply the daily limits of your plan and to size our servers (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
- Payments: if you take a paid plan, our payment provider's customer id, the state of the subscription and its renewal date. Card details go to the payment provider only; we never see them (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) for tax records).
- Emails: the confirmation and password-reset emails we send you, through our email provider, with your address and the link (Art. 6(1)(b)).
- A first question without an account: the start page answers one question before sign-up. The question and the answer are not stored on our side; they stay in your browser. We keep a count per network address for the day, as a keyed hash from which the address cannot be recovered, and the puzzle you solved for up to one hour, also with that hash. This stops automated abuse (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Server logs: our hosting provider keeps request logs with IP address, time, page and browser type for 30 days, for security and troubleshooting (Art. 6(1)(f)).
What we do not do
- No analytics or tracking services, no advertising, no third-party cookies.
- No training of any model on your chats, and no sharing of chats with anyone.
- No automated decisions about you with legal or similar effect. Replies from the model are text, not decisions.
- No profiling, and no sale of data.
Cookies and browser storage
One cookie holds your session; it is strictly necessary, so no consent banner is needed. Your browser's local storage keeps small preferences, such as whether "Think" is on, and a question you typed before signing up, so it can wait for you in your first chat. Nothing in it is read by anyone else.
Who else sees data
These companies process data for us, under contracts that bind them to our instructions:
- Google Cloud (Google Cloud EMEA Limited, Ireland): hosting of the app, the database and the model server, in the EU. Backups are kept for 14 days.
- Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Limited, Ireland, for customers in Europe): payments for paid plans, including your card details, address and, for businesses, VAT id. Stripe is itself responsible for the payment data it needs by law.
- Resend (Resend, Inc., United States, using its EU data region): sending of account emails. Standard contractual clauses cover any transfer to the United States.
The operator is a company in the United States and may access the service's data from there to run it. The data itself stays in the EU; that access is covered by the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.
How long we keep data
- Account and chats: until you delete them. Deleting the account removes it with every chat at once.
- Database backups: up to 14 days after a deletion, then they expire.
- Counts for the first question without an account: one day. Solved puzzles: one hour.
- Server logs: 30 days.
- Invoices and payment records: as long as tax law requires us to keep them.
Your rights
You can see, correct and delete your data yourself on the account page and in each chat. Beyond that you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection under the GDPR, and the right to complain to a data protection authority, for example the one of the place where you live. Write to hello@eu-inference.com for anything you cannot do yourself.
Age
The service is not meant for people under 16. If you are younger, please do not create an account.
Changes
When the service changes in a way that matters for your data, this text changes with it, with a new version date at the top. For changes that affect you, we tell you by email.
